Thanksgiving Fixings: Facebook, Instagram Temporarily Down As Turkeys Enter Ovens

It looks like perhaps too many people expressed what they were grateful for on Facebook and its sister company Instagram today, with users reporting intermittent issues. Both companies acknowledged the inconvenience and stated that they're "working on fixing the issue" at hand; from our side, it seems like the outage is now (mostly) fixed, sans a few hiccups here and there. Some 2,000 people are expected to enjoy the annual holiday meal between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., with swaths of volunteers preparing all the traditional Thanksgiving fixings last night and into today.
